Phân biệt “Injure”, “wound” and “hurt”

“1. Injure to harm yourself or somebody else physically, especially in an accident. Dùng injure trong tình huống bị tai nạn.
eg: He injured his knee playing hockey.
Three people were slightly injured in the crash.

2. Wound is often used to talk about people being hurt in war or in other attacks which affect a lot of people. Dùng wound cho tình huống chiến tranh, do bị tấn công.
* an injury to part of the body, especially one in which a hole is made in the skin using a weapon

3. Hurt to cause physical pain to somebody/yourself; to injure somebody/yourself. Hurt chỉ đau đớn hoặc cũng có thể nặng nề như injure.
eg: I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you. (Xin lỗi em. Anh không cố ý làm đau)”
